Dear friends of the Alps, we are getting the move on and rise the speed. You’re crazy about pedaling? Check out mountain biking in Valley Aurina. Good to know that many roads lead up high. Be persistent to reach the trails up above. Then down hilling begins. A beauty of nature is what expects you, once you have put enough effort, lost enough sweat and reached the single track dirt trails.

Riding experts will find the technical challenge, all mountain trails and downhill biking to check their limits and abilities. You prefer to rely on local knowledge? We know your bike guides who may show you the best trails. If you still need equipment such as bike, helmet or even armour, the guides will provide it all at their bike rentals.

For beginners who want to sneak into a new experience we recommend a private coach. Take some training lessons at the obstacle course for you and your group of friends. Once you achieved all the basic mountain bike skills the guides may accompany you on your first ride out.

From time to time a cabin will invite you to take a break. Pause and relax. Regeneration is important, too.

There are those of you who want to spend time on their bikes without doing a day long uphill. Well, we’d recommend a huge lunch box, and to leave borders behind, then. You will cross the Pustertal-Val Pusteria and ride from Ahrntal-Valle Aurina to Lienz in Austria. It’s a tour passing scenic nature spots on a medium skill level. Of course, you may only ride parts of it. You’ll get back to your starting point by train, because our guests ride for free on all public transport in South Tyrol.
