Why don’t you have a look at the travel evaluation portals. Apart from Markus there is clearly one more hero in the house. Chef Oswald and his crew spoil our guests with meals prepared with love. Everyone will find their favourite dish at our buffets and the several courses. Our kitchen crew passionately builds the bridge between South Tyrol dining, Italian ideas and popular dishes. If you have any recommendation or requests please let us know.

We do our best to integrate a multitude of regional dishes in our menus. We prefer ingredients of regional origin we know the sources of. It’s part of our philosophy to convey our culture.  How could that be more enjoyable than with real good food?

 

You have woken up admiring the panoramic view of the mountains. For breakfast you will be reminded once again that you’re spending your vacation in South Tyrol. Herb-scented traditional bread, cheese from Dobbiaco-Toblach or the compulsory apricot jelly will make it hard for you to leave the dining room. But your activities are waiting on you. Most of the time you will be out on midday. We organize lunch for you at the cabins or on the slopes. You may also book boxed lunch or have lunch at our hotels.

 

Dinner consists of four courses. We add fresh water from the fountain in our garden. In summer it’s your turn to get water, if you like to join our habits; have a break between the courses and find an excuse to get up and walk a little. We are proud of our buffet of salads, greens and antipasti. Then we serve pasta or soup, followed by a main dish and dessert, just as it should be.

 

Please inform us on gluten-free and lactose-free dishes, dietary restrictions, allergies, eating habits or conviction. We try our best – and most successfully – to meet the demands.

We believe it’s our task to promote South Tyrol. This is why we try to integrate as many regional products as possible. Have a look:

ORGANIC BEEF

The beef we use usually comes from Walter’s organic farm. Too bad for the grey cattle, actually. But it’s so delicious.

POTATOES FROM VALLEY PUSTERIA

Potatoes from South Tyrol

Valley Pusterian potatoes grow on the fields of the Künig farm. The rough climate turns them into a very tasty breed: Cold nights and sunny days above the average temperature during the ripening are the base of their well-known character of taste. Very special plants somehow. Just like the Valley’s people.

 

The breeds are called Laura, Margit and Anushka, by the way.

ORGANIC APPLE JUICE FROM SOUTH TYROL

Our organic apple juice, the organic apples and the organic wine come from the Santer Farm at Rio di Pusteria-Mühlbachklause. You passed that place on your way to us and surely didn’t overlook the huge castle’s ruin right next to the street. Don’t miss the juice prepared there either.

 

We decided to reduce soft drinks and sugary juices to concentrate on regional high quality products.

 

After a journey throughout the Valley a cold apple juice is just the best, isn’t it? In winter we recommend the hot version of steamed juice or organic mullet wine next to the bonfire after an exhausting walk with snow shoes.

CHEERS! OUR BEER

Especially this kind of joy should be of regional origin. And occasionally this little lady from Valley Pusteria came across our way. Pustertaler Freiheit is a private brewery with young pioneers as CEOs who know how to delight beer lovers.

OUR ORGANIC COFFEE

Markus and Fabian prepare the best Cappuccino in the Valley. The beans are roasted in South Tyrol.

BAKERY

The bakeries produce their goods by themselves. We serve you a variety of traditional bread from South Tyrol.

MILK AND DAIRY PRODUCTS

Paul Röck from Molini di Tures-Mühlen in Taufers supplies the hotels with regional milk products.

CEREALS

Our cereals are composed at a mill in Valle Aosta in South Tyrol.
